Wanna see my TOYS???

Hey everyone,

I have really became a big girl in the past month! I can fully hold my head up, I smile all the time and little chuckles are beginning to follow! I have SO many toys that mom can get a 15, 30 or 45 minutes break with! I love anything that lights up, rattles, dangles or that I can try to stand up in! Barney is the MAN....and Daddy has already promised to buy me my first Barney stuff dino! I have started going to bed around 8pm and usually wake between 7:30-8:00am! Then I nap two one hour naps a day and one three hour nap...which Mommy seems to enjoy!!! You can tell I love to sleep as long as I am in my swaddle! I have just began eating something different then my bottle! One day it was this orange color(SQUASH) and although I ate a little bit, it wasn't my favorite. Then yesterday I had something bright green(PEAS) and it was so yummy! The doctor said I couldn't eat rice or barley cereal because I have some tummy issues...no need to explain! When I get cranky, going outside or on a walk always helps! I am a real mover so you need to keep me occupied! Mommy says I get that from Daddy and she used a weird word to describe it... A.D.D.!! I don't know what that means yet but sure I will someday! Well I am off to take a nap and then maybe a stroll around College Park with my cousin Coleson! See ya soon!

Happy 4 Month Birthday!

Pretty bandaids always help!

Happy 4 Month Birthday to me!!

When everyone says soak up this age they really mean it! Brinkley is 4 Months old today and I feel like its all flying by way too fast! We went for our check-up and everything looked amazing as usual! She is 15.6 lbs(85 percentile in weight) and 25 1/2 inches(90 percentile in height)! WOWZERS!! Maybe taking after Uncle Clayton! Dr. Ryan was thrilled that her weight was keeping up with her height and said we can begin testing baby food! BIG step and I am thrilled to death! So I plan on pureeing food this afternoon so we can begin in the morning!

Ike also got to experience her shots for the first time! It doesn't get any better watching her go through that pain the second time, until its over 5 minutes later! He even wanted to carry her out without her pants off because he was scared to hurt her legs! She did so well! Lucky for us it was nap time so she slept off the pain!

Off to the kitchen to begin making baby food...thank goodness for William Sonoma cookbooks because this is definitely a first!!

Beginning 2011 with a bang!

2011 has been quite busy and just beginning to slow down...which is wonderful! Here's a small recap of the past few weeks!!

Ike and I are on a coed softball league with black jersey's and we made Brinkley a shirt to support us!! RT is the name of the name of our team! So far 1-0! Go Mom and Daddy!

We spent the afternoon of the 16th at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp for Poppie's Birthday! There was country cover band, blue skies and the best Gator around!! His ideal place to celebrate! Happy Birthday Teddy Wayne!!

My family was just in town! We spent a full day at SeaWorld! I was poking my father like I was the 8 year old amazed at the shows! I haven't been there since I was a little girl and plan on returning again soon! It was a wonderful way to kick off a family weekend, which then ended by going to the Rock of Ages play! It was great! A perfect Christmas gift for Mom and Dad!

Butchie and Myles celebrated their engagement party Saturday evening in Tallahassee! We were thrilled to be able to go and what a beautiful setup! They have some of the sweetest friends and family, which makes me real excited for the wedding weekend!

Brinkley got to experience her first time in the hot tub! Although it was just warm and she was only in there for about 10 minutes, she really seemed to enjoy it! She splashed her hands and smiled! The bikini was one of her Daddy's first presents after he found out we were having a girl! She was toooooo PRECIOUS!!!!!

Santa Came!!!

Well needless to say Brinkley was on the NICE list this year because she racked up between her grandparents, Ike and I, and Santa! It's amazing how different Christmas is when you have little ones! It really makes the holidays!! I couldn't believe how much fun it was as parents! We were taking tons of pictures because we didn't want to miss anything! Everything had to be perfect: the tree, the lights, the presents...everything! I don't know who enjoyed it more her or us! I can't wait for next year when she's actually opening the gifts and running around!

Ike and I are really enjoying parenthood! Although Brinkley has her days, she is really an amazing baby and so content! She's started smiling, found her tongue, almost able to fully hold her head up and beginning to make noises! She's making this whole process easy, which I think I deserve after such an awful pregnancy lol! On the other end Ike is so wonderful and such a great father! He adores her and has become the master at making her laugh and bath time!
